La Fraternité des travailleurs anarcho-syndicalistes, membre de l’Association internationale des travailleurs (PPAS-AIT), condamne fermement la tentative d’assassinat préméditée d’Andrie Yunus, militant des droits humains et coordinateur adjoint de la Commission pour les personnes disparues et les victimes de violence (KontraS).
Andrie Yunus a été attaqué avec de l’acide le soir du 12 mars 2026, subissant des brûlures sur 24 % de son corps, notamment aux yeux et au visage, en particulier du côté droit, à la poitrine et aux deux mains.
Cet acte ne saurait être considéré comme un simple accident, car il a été perpétré de manière organisée et préméditée, à l’aide d’outils difficiles à se procurer ou à transporter, en ciblant des parties vitales du corps et, surtout, après plusieurs jours de harcèlement et de terreur.
Andrie Yunus est un militant qui a consacré sa vie à la défense des droits humains et des victimes de violations des droits de l’homme et de violences d’État n’ayant pas accès à la justice. Par son activité, il dénonce sans relâche l’État, dont l’administration est gangrenée par la violence, l’exploitation, la corruption et la soumission aux intérêts capitalistes.
Andrie Yunus a été attaqué à l’acide juste après avoir enregistré un podcast sur la remilitarisation et un révision judiciaire de la loi sur les forces armées nationales indonésiennes (TNI Law). Environ un an auparavant, il avait fait irruption dans une salle de réunion dans un hôtel de luxe où se trouvait l’élite politique du pays , alors qu’elle s’apprêtaient à ratifier la même loi sur les Forces armées nationales indonésiennes (TN Law) – loi à laquelle s’opposèrent par de nombreux groupes car elle fragilisait la situation des civils dans un situation économique où les opportunités d’emploi [pour les civils] sont rares.
Lors de nombreuses vagues de manifestations, telles que #PeringatanDarurat (Alerte d’urgence),(#IndonesiaGelap (IndonesiaDark), #TolakRUUTNI (Rejet du projet de loi sur les Forces armées nationales indonésiennes) et les manifestations d’août-septembre 2025, Andrie Yunus a participé, au sein de l’Équipe de plaidoyer pour la démocratie, à la libération d’innombrables manifestants arrêtés, battus par la police et criminalisés – y compris des anarchistes. Plus précisément, lors de cette dernière vague de manifestations, il a également siégé au sein de la Commission d’enquête, menant une investigation indépendante, notamment sur les violations et l’usage excessif de la force par les représentants de l’État.
Ces faits témoignent de l’engagement d’Andrie Yunus dans la lutte contre les brutalités policières et le militarisme, instruments constants de l’État pour perpétuer les intérêts des capitalistes et exploiter la classe ouvrière.
Sans jamais se revendiquer anarchiste, la défense inlassable de la classe ouvrière par Andrie Yunus et son rejet des réglementations qui fragilisent la position des civils et des travailleurs s’inscrivent dans une démarche de défense des intérêts des prolétaires, fondement même de la lutte anarchosyndicaliste.
La tentative d’assassinat dont Andrie Yunus a été victime et son combat pour la défense des intérêts prolétaires confortent la thèse anarchiste de longue date selon laquelle l’État n’est qu’une accumulation de méfaits, et par conséquent, sa défense n’est plus justifiée.
C’est pourquoi le PPAS-AIT exprime sa solidarité avec Andrie Yunus et toutes les victimes de violences pour avoir résisté à l’arbitraire d’État.
Éteindre une flamme, c’est en allumer des milliers.
Que justice soit faite pour tous ceux qui la méritent.
Exigeons l’impossible.
Car au final, il ne reste que deux voies : celle de la victoire pour les classes opprimées et exploitées par le tandem capitalisme-État, ou celle de la victoire pour les fascistes.

Pernyataan Sikap: Persaudaraan Pekerja Anarko-Sindikalis (PPAS-IWA) Bersolidaritas dengan Andrie Yunus
Dan orang-orang yang mendapat kekerasan karena perlawanannya terhadap kesewenang-wenangan Negara.

Persaudaraan Pekerja Anarko-Sindikalis, bagian dari International Workers’ Association (PPAS-IWA), mengutuk keras tindakan percobaan pembunuhan berencana atas Andrie Yunus, aktivis HAM dan Wakil Koordinator Komisi untuk Orang Hilang dan Korban Tindak Kekerasan (KontraS). Andrie Yunus disiram dengan air keras pada 12 Maret 2026 malam yang menyebabkan luka bakar pada 24% tubuhnya, meliputi mata dan wajah terutama sebelah kanan, dada, serta kedua tangan. Tindakan ini tidak bisa dilihat sebagai tindakan insidentil semata, sebab ia dilakukan secara terorganisir dan terencana; menggunakan alat yang tidak dapat dibeli dan dibawa dengan mudah; menyasar anggota tubuh yang vital; dan terutama, ia disertai dengan penguntitan dan teror sejak hari-hari sebelumnya.
Andrie Yunus adalah seorang pekerja yang mendedikasikan hidupnya pada kerja-kerja advokasi kepentingan publik dan membela korban-korban pelanggaran HAM dan kekerasan Negara yang tak mampu mengakses layanan hukum. Sejak saat itu, ia telah selalu menunjuk hidung Negara yang dalam penyelenggaraannya selalu sarat kekerasan, eksploitasi, praktik-praktik koruptif, dan penghambaan pada kepentingan para pemodal.
Andrie Yunus diserang dengan air keras persis setelah ia melakukan perekaman podcast mengenai remiliterisasi dan judicial review UU TNI. Kurang lebih setahun sebelumnya, ia menerobos masuk ke ruang rapat para elit politik di hotel mewah yang sedang mempersiapkan pengesahan UU TNI yang sama—yang kemudian ditolak oleh banyak kalangan sebab melemahkan posisi warga sipil dalam ketersediaan lapangan kerja yang terbatas.
Dalam banyak gelombang aksi demonstrasi, seperti #PeringatanDarurat, #IndonesiaGelap, #TolakRUUTNI, dan gelombang aksi Agustus – September 2025 yang lalu, Andrie Yunus melibatkan diri bersama Tim Advokasi Untuk Demokrasi bergulat dalam advokasi membebaskan begitu banyak demonstran yang ditangkap, dipukuli polisi, dan dikriminalisasi—termasuk para anarkis. Khusus gelombang aksi yang terakhir disebut, ia juga menjadi bagian dari Komite Pencari Fakta, melakukan investigasi independen termasuk atas pelanggaran dan penggunaan kekerasan berlebihan aparat Negara.
Fakta-fakta itu menunjukkan Andrie Yunus telah terlibat dalam kerja-kerja melawan brutalitas polisi serta militerisme yang senantiasa menjadi alat Negara untuk melanggengkan kepentingan pemilik modal dan eksploitasi atas kelas pekerja. Tanpa pernah mendapuk diri sebagai seorang anarkis, konsistensi Andrie Yunus dalam membela kelas pekerja dan menolak regulasi-regulasi yang melemahkan posisi warga sipil dan kelas pekerja patut kita lihat sebagai kerja-kerja pembelaan kepentingan kelas pekerja—sebagaimana selalu menjadi langgam utama perjuangan anarko-sindikalisme. Upaya pembunuhan terhadap Andrie Yunus dan kerja-kerjanya membela kepentingan kelas pekerja juga sekaligus menebalkan tesis lama anarkisme bahwa Negara tak lebih dari sekumpulan kejahatan dan oleh karenanya tak ada lagi alasan untuk mempertahankannya.
Dengan demikian, PPAS-IWA menyatakan bersolidaritas dengan Andrie Yunus dan semua orang yang telah menjadi korban kekerasan karena perlawanannya atas kesewenang-wenangan Negara.
Menyiram satu, membakar beribu. Semoga keadilan kembali kepada semua yang berhak. Tuntut yang tak mungkin. Sebab pada akhirnya hanya tersisa dua jalan: jalan menuju kemenangan kelas yang tertindas dan tereksploitasi di bawah kapitalisme-Negara, atau jalan menuju kemenangan para fasis.

Persaudaraan Pekerja Anarko-Sindikalis, part of the International Workers’ Association (PPAS-IWA), strongly condemns the attempted murder of Andrie Yunus, a human rights activist and Deputy Coordinator of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS). On the night of 12 March 2026, Andrie Yunus was attacked with acid, resulting in burns covering 24% of his body—including his eyes and face especially the right side, chest, and both hands. This act cannot be dismissed as an accident alone, as it was carried out in an organized and planned manner; targeting vital body parts; using tools that are not easily obtained and crucially: and most importantly, preceded by terror and stalking since the previous days.
Andrie Yunus is a worker who has dedicated his life to public interest advocacy and defending victims of human rights violations and state violence who lack access to legal services. Throughout this work, he has consistently called out the State—whose operations are rife with violence, exploitation, corrupt practices, and subservience to the interests of capitalists.
The acid attack on Andrie Yunus occurred immediately after he recorded a podcast on remilitarization and the judicial review of the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) Law. Approximately one year prior, he had forced his way into a meeting room at a luxury hotel where political elites were preparing to pass the same TNI Law—legislation that was later opposed by many groups for weakening the position of civilians in the limited job market.
In numerous waves of protest actions, such as #EmergencyWarning (#PeringatanDarurat), #DarkIndonesia (#IndonesiaGelap), #RejectTheTNIBill (#TolakRUUTNI), and the protest waves of August–September 2025, Andrie Yunus worked with the Advocacy Team for Democracy to advocate for the release of countless demonstrators who were arrested, beaten by police, and criminalized—including anarchists. For the latter protest wave in particular, he was also part of the Fact-Finding Committee, conducting independent investigations into violations and the excessive use of force by state authorities.
These facts show that Andrie Yunus has been involved in efforts to fight police brutality and militarism—tools that the State consistently uses to perpetuate the interests of capital owners and the exploitation of the working class. While he has never identified as an anarchist, Andrie Yunus’s consistency in defending working class and people in general. also standing against so many regulations which undermines the position of civilians and the working class, should be recognized as work in defense of the working class’s interests–in line with the core tenets of anarcho-syndicalism. The assassination attempt against Andrie Yunus and his work defending the working class further reinforces anarchism’s long-standing thesis that the State is nothing more than a pile of crimes, and therefore there is no longer any reason to defend it.
Thus, PPAS-IWA declares its solidarity with Andrie Yunus and all those who have fallen victim to violence for resisting state arbitrariness.
An injury to one is an injury to all. To douse one is to burn a thousand. May justice be restored to all who are entitled to it. Demand the impossible. For in the end, only two paths remain: the path to victory for the oppressed and exploited class under the capitalist-State, or the path to victory for fascists.
